Who are we going to feed the meat of this Qurbani to?
We find in Surah Hajj Allah tells us that we eat from that very slaughter and at the same time we feed those are distressed and who are struggling financially. Now this is what we have understand is that it’s an invitation from Allah, it’s a gift from Allah (SWT).
So definitely if we’re doing it locally, we want to save a portion for ourselves but as we know these are somewhat difficult times and if we have the opportunity to give someone else this meat, then Bismillah. If we’re doing it locally, let’s give it to someone that we know thats is in need or if we’re doing it abroad, then Alhamdulillah, we have ample food here. Let’s give it to those people that barely get the opportunity to eat any meat of any nature.
So inshAllah, my recommendation would be, give more than take and Allah (SWT) will give you more.
